“My name is Andy Hallett and my wife Annie and I have had the pleasure of living on a beautiful farm in the South Wales valleys for the last 11 years.
When we moved to the farm we spent quite a long time working out what to do with the 25 acres of land we had and eventually decided on growing apple trees and making cider. We planted several orchards just 3 years ago and the trees are all doing well. We hope to get a full crop from them in another 2 or 3 years.
We currently harvest orchards around the South East of Wales but hope to become self sufficient when all our own orchards are fully grown. So far the decision seems to have been a wise one as we have enjoyed much success.
I have always loved cider and so it’s a real pleasure to be able to make my own, and that other people also enjoy drinking it. We hope to continue to grow our cider business both locally and around the UK.”
